It’s almost the end of February (already), and we’re in the throes of winter. If you’re in anywhere in the northern hemisphere, you most likely got hit with a few inches of snow these past few weeks. We know how hard it is, looking outside and feeling the urge to lay in bed, wondering what it felt like the last time you wore a short-sleeved top. It’s okay to look forward to the warmer months, in the meantime, Adaaba is here to remind you that not only can you survive winter, you can thrive in it.

Here are a few ideas to get you started:
Embrace the ultimate cozy comfort of drinking tea.
Light a fireplace if you have one.
Put on a beginner Yoga session on Youtube.
Looking forward to your morning routine by introducing warm, healthy breakfasts to your diet.
Reset your alarm to a gentle wake-up tune, like birdsong.
Nurture your relationships by hosting your family and friends for dinner.
Bring some warmth into your home by lighting a scented candle (we have just the one!)
Add some learning and color to your commute by listening to audiobooks.
Keep your joints active by challenging yourself to a brief walk, even for 10 minutes.
Most of these ideas favor homebodies, but don’t feel confined to stay indoors. As we count down the remaining 32 days before the official start of spring (March 20th 2025), focus on taking as much care of yourself and your community. Till we see again (hopefully without our winter coats), take care.
